Often, my clients tell me, “I don’t know what I want.”

 

Why? It can be really hard to know what jobs you are qualified for. 

 

Even though this is incredibly common, people don’t seem to realize how common it is.

 

There are so many reasons for it:

✖️ Job descriptions are written badly. They haven’t changed since the 1970s.

✖️ In many fields, people often can’t follow linear careers any more. 

✖️What is required for jobs is changing so quickly.

✖️Every company uses different titles. 

 

The common advice is to pick a role and market yourself to that role.

 

Go back to school.

 

Go to a bootcamp (Yeah, if you have 10k laying around)

Let me lead you through the process I created working with over 187 individual clients. Using this process, my clients have discovered and landed roles as instructional designers, product managers, and directors of customer success even though none of them had held that role previously.

 

In this class you will learn: 

  • How to determine your unique value - what will actually attract hiring professionals
  • A better way to learn about new roles that doesn’t involve job boards
  • A 3-step process for finding your ideal role

 

 

This class approaches things differently. There are two principals:

 

1. You cannot convince someone to hire you. But you don’t have to. Instead, find the hiring manager who is looking for you. 

 

2. Finding a job that you are going to be happy in (as close to possible as happy) is just as important as finding one that you are qualified for. Yes, this is so you will be in an environment where you can succeed. But also, hiring managers don’t want to hire someone who seems like they will be miserable in the role after the honeymoon period wears off. This is part of increasing your odds of getting hired.

 

If neither of those sounds logical to you, then this class probably isn’t right for you.

 

But if they do, you can save your 10k and avoid student loans.
