In 2014, I decided that I was ready to leave the classroom, and I knew that I wanted to work in tech.Â
Â
So I did what most people do, I started looking for roles on LinkedIn. The only problem? LinkedIn compared my profile to the roles I was looking at and told me I would be in the bottom applicants for every single role I looked at. Basically, it told me I wasnât qualified for anything other than continuing to stay in the classroom. đ
Â
Luckily, I didnât listen. Within 3 months I was working at Microsoft.Â
Â
đ€© And within 4 years I was at my dream company at my dream job, making over 6-figures. I had built a new program and a new team and now had 8 people reporting to me.Â
Â
I can honestly say that making this transition changed my life and opened up so many opportunities for me.
Â
I am not special.Â
Â
I met so many other people who had transitioned from other careers and were extremely successful, including many former teachers.
Â
The corporate world LOVES teachers. Teaching skills are more important than ever. It is now recognized as a key skill in people management, other types of leadership, AND the software world has so many roles that need teaching skills such as customer success, product trainers, instructional designers, curriculum creators, marketers and more. Not to mention internal training which is often a part of many different types of teams.Â
Â
đ Over the last 6 years, I developed a methodology and have taught 144 job seekers how to make a career change and land in their ideal roles. This included many teachers and educators, but also people from other careers.
Â
Making a career change is becoming extremely common. But the hiring process isnât set up for it. So you probably see people on your LinkedIn transitioning out of teaching into cool jobs everyday, but yet it seems hard. Because it requires a specific strategy.
Let me teach you what: Â
Â
đŻMost transitioning teachers donât know
đ ââïžWill kill your transition (where people get stuck)
âWhat mistakes most people makeÂ
đĄWhat you need to knowÂ
Â
And How
Â
đTo market yourself for a role outside of educationÂ
â To find the hiring professionals that are looking for you!

Weâll also go over 3 case studies (in addition to my own) of teachers who transitioned into roles that they know love.
- Tiffany who transitioned from teaching to ed tech.Â
- Alison who pivoted in an instructional designer role for a well-known tech company for double 40K more that she had ever made previously.Â
- Angela who pivoted from being a program manager at a public university to recruiting at one of the biggest apparel companies in the world.
Join me on Thursday, January 16th at 4 pm Pacific / 7 pm Eastern.Â
This class is completely free. But this is the only time I will teach it for the next 6 months. You must register! Grab your spot now.Â

Lynn Juve has helped her clients land roles at Microsoft, Amazon, The American Heart Association, Qualtrics, Zulilly, Payscale and many small but mighty mission-based organizations.Â
Her clients often boast higher salaries, successfully land pivots, and get back to work after 2 years to 20 years of not being in a corporate role.
There were two pit stops on Lynnâs career journey that called her to start Bespoke Professional: she pivoted from education to tech and realized that the process was not built for pivoters and the tools available to job searching were making it harder for pivoters. And after pivoting and achieving her goals of building and managing a team at a respected tech company and earning six-figures she felt the most unhappy and anxious that she had in her life. She found herself looking for a new role when she felt her worst. She loves this work, especially seeing her clients succeed.
